Pregnancy is a beautiful journey, but rarely an easy one: an aching back, heavy legs, stiff shoulders and broken sleep. The prenatal treatments at Latus are designed specifically for pregnancy, with suitable positions, pressure and focus areas, so mums-to-be can relax safely and comfortably.
Treatments for mums-to-be
- Prenatal Care – Essential Oil Body Massage (60 or 90 min) — a gentle massage of the back, shoulders, arms and legs with mild essential oils.
- Prenatal Care – Essential Oil Body Massage with Hot Stones (60 or 90 min) — the added warmth of the stones helps soften the back and calf muscles.
- Comprehensive Prenatal Care (120 min) — a complete ritual for days when you want to spend a whole afternoon on yourself.
How Latus takes care of you
- You lie on your side, supported by pillows, rather than face down; your position is adjusted to your stage of pregnancy.
- Light pressure, avoiding areas and acupressure points that aren't suitable during pregnancy.
- Gentle essential oils with a light, subtle scent.
Before you book
- Prenatal massage is generally recommended from the second trimester (around week 13) onwards. Please check with your obstetrician first, especially if your pregnancy is high-risk.
- When booking, please let Latus know how many weeks pregnant you are and any health concerns (blood pressure, swelling, gestational diabetes, etc.).
- Avoid eating a large meal beforehand, and use the bathroom before your session so you're more comfortable.
